The method of using hair as a drawing tool is a long, frustrating process involving a lot of patience.

I wanted to explore the fragility and delicate nature of hair. Using hair as a medium to draw with creates the sharpest line which would be extremely difficult to replicate with pencil.  I was still encapsulated with the idea of portraying a natural substance in a positive light and it is not until extremely close inspection that you would even recognise that hair has been used.
